• Question: If the world was to go fully automated and humans didn't have to work do you think it would be a step forward for humans or would it make it worse than to factors like global warming being a thing

      That’s an interesting question. Full automation in the way you suggest would not be possible without some form of AI as people still need to program the parameters under which they operate.

      If you take people out of the equation completely, I am rather suspicious that no-one knows what is happening and therefore how decisions are made. I’ve seen enough science fiction films not to trust that! Can you imagine a world where all decisions were made by machines based on probabilities and likelihood with no room for individual judgement? Personally I think we still need people in the equation to ensure there are still checks and balances…
