• Question: How would you help the world with the solution of the covid 19 virus

      Hi Knit389end,

      Scientists are currently working really hard to find a solution/vaccine for Covid19. I am not directly involved with those projects. The best thing we can do to help the world to fight covid 19 is by following the world health organisation guidelines. It include many advices to the public, to media, to governments etc. Unfortunately no one clearly follows these measures and that’s why we have so many reported cases and deaths.

      Hello Knit389End 🙂 Like Binuraj, I am not involved in the work that virologists (scientists who study viruses) are doing to try and find solutions against covid-19. BUT we all can do something to protect ourselves and those around us by following the advice of healthcare professionals. That is washing your hands thoroughly using soap and water (or rubbing hands with alcohol-based hand sanitizers), to avoid touching your face and when sneezing cover your mouth and nose with a bent elbow (it kinda looks like dabbing) or a tissue (and bin that tissue as soon as possible).

      I think my knowledge on this one isn’t the best, I don’t have a strong biology background. However, I think following the guidelines from the world health organisation is best practise as Binuraj has said. Washing our hands with soap is the best advice to prevent spread of the virus.
