      I made389gas,

I have no correct answer to this and I am not an expert so what I could do is, just to google this for you.

Hello made389gas 🙂 I was reminded of this while looking for information for other answers and I did a course in Astrobiology on Coursera when I was at University! As far as I am aware the earliest fossils were discovered in Western Australia and are dated back to about 3.5 billion years ago. These are stromatolites, which can be formed by the growth of layer upon layer of single-celled microbes, such as cyanobacteria.
