• Question: when are you going to find cure for the corona virus

      Hi name389gas,

      Scientists across the globe are trying harder to find a vaccine and drugs against corona virus. There are some initial success, but before giving it to patients any type of recently discovered medicine has to undergo detailed clinical trials and testing to understand the effectiveness and side effects. We will definitely find a cure for corona virus in the near future for sure.

      There are some great scientists and doctors all over the world working on finding a cure, I can’t tell you when but I know everyone is doing there best!

      I don’t work in this field, but some colleagues in my organisation at Diamond Light Source are working on detecting antibodies for the virus, an important first step to finding a cure/vaccine.
